Piaa Bajpai is a known actress from India, who also happens to be a model. Prominently, she is known for doing South Indian movies including Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam. She hails from Ettawah Uttar Pradesh and was born there only later, she headed to Delhi for doing a computer course.
She always dreamt of being an actress, however, her parents were against her decision. She worked hard with odd jobs along with her computer course to make her good portfolio. Soon, she was restless and thus headed to Mumbai to earn money. There she got the chance to work as a dubbing artist for TV serials, however, soon left it in between to try modelling.
Piaa Bajpai was born in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India on 27 September 1990 in a middle class family. when she was 15 then she moved to Delhi for a Computer Diploma.
She wants to become an actress but her parents was against this decision.She does a small job for earning money for her acting career and after one year later she left the job and went to Mumbai own her money. and she got a job of dubbing artist in tv serials.
after some she started modelling and she appeared in so many music videos and tv ads like Cadbury ad with Amitabh Bachchan and Sonata ads with M.S Dhoni. she got first break in Tamil movies in 2008.
She entered stardom with the Tamil movie called Goa, wherein she played the character of a Goan girl, getting several accolades for her incredible performance. She then got other South Indian movies including the Telugu and Malayalam, which also brought positive review for her performance.
Currently, she is doing one English film called X, one Tamil based movies known as Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and one Malayala movie called Aamayum Muyalum.After appearing in Priyadarshan’s commercial, he offered her a chance to play a part in his Tamil film production, and Pia accepted the offer after an audition. The comedy film, Poi Solla Porom, was directed by A. L. Vijay and featured Karthik Kumar and Nassar in pivotal roles.
Pia Bajpai was born in Etawah but resettled in Delhi at 15 to attend a computer course while hoping to gain a break in films. Most notably, she went on to feature in adverts for Cadbury alongside veteran actor, Amitabh Bachchan and Sonata with cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
She was eventually signed on by noted film-maker Priyadarshan to appear in a commercial he directed and it became a platform for her to break into films.She went on to make her debut in Telugu cinema with the 2009 movie Ninnu Kalisaka. She gained wider fame in 2011 after starring in the Tamil movie Ko, for which she was nominated for a Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actress.
