Shikha was born on 7 February 1986 in Chandigarh. She accquired graduation in Economics from MCM College, Chandigarh. She has won "Miss Chandigarh" title in the year 2006. Later in 2007, she migrated to Mumbai, where she accidentally entered the field of acting. She never dreamt of herself to be an actress. She proved her talent in the debut serial "Meri Doli tere Angana". She has bagged the strong and demanding role of Amba the dacoit, in "Na Aana Is Des Laado".
