Meenakshi Dixit was born 12 October in Raebareli, India. She is the daughter of Ishwar Chandra Dixit, a senior lawyer in Civil Court Raebareli, and Geeta Dixit.
She graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry.[citation needed] She has trained in Kathak and western dance.
She was active in sports, especially in athletics. Meenakshi Dixit has started her acting career in 2008 on NDTV Imagine, as a contestant in "Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan". This eventually lead her to step into Indian film industry.
She first appeared in a Telugu fim, "Lifestyle". Her performance in the film gained recognition among the masses.She was introduced in Bollywood by National Award Winner director Mr. Kundan shah 's P Se PM Tak in 2015.
She played a feisty protagonist who is a prostitute & quickly finds herself in the chief Minister's chair and then in the run to become the Prime Minister of the country. Filmmaker Kundan Shah said "She is photogenic and also a talented actress".
She was next seen in Laal Rang in 2016 as Randeep Hooda's onscreen love interest where she plays the role of a medical student. Her Tamil Film Bayam Oru Payanam got positive showers from audience and critics.
She was able to utilize the opportunity to impress the audience with her looks and performance.Later on, she has endorsed for several local and international brands like Joyalukkas Jewelry, Microsoft Windows, Fair and Handsome cream, Chennai Silks, Shankaram diamond jewelry, Brook Bond Taza tea, Lee Cooper and many more.
