Malaika Arora Khan (born 23 October 1973), known as Malaika Arora before her marriage, is an Indian actress, dancer, model, VJ, and television presenter.She met her better half, Arbaaz Khan at a coffee ad commercial shoot, and after some interactions  they decided to marry.



Malaika Arora Khan is a Bollywood item queen, an Indian Actress and model. She is famous for her item songs like Chaiyya Chaiyya and Munni Badnaam Hui. 




She turned film producer in 2008, with her husband, Arbaaz Khan. Their company Arbaaz Khan Productions has released its first film, Dabangg. She was seen judging India's Got Talent. 



She was seen as judge on the dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 on Colors. She was seen judging India's Got Talent Season 7 alongwith Karan Johar and Kirron Kher.Because of her item numbers, she is recognized as one of India’s top item girls. 



She then married Arbaaz Khan, venturing into film production with their company Arbaaz Khan Productions. Malaika Arora was born in Thane, Maharashtra. Her parents divorced when she was 11 years old and she shifted to Chembur with her mother and sister Amrita. 




Her mother, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Catholic and her father, Anil Arora, was a Punjabi native to the Indian border town of Fazilka, who worked in the Merchant Navy.Malaika got married to the Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan on 12 December 1998. 




They have a son named Arhaan. It's been over a year since everyone heard about the couple's divorce rumours. They attended a counselling session at the Bandra Family Court. According to the sources, their divorce matter will be up for hearing on May 11 next year. 




The duo will meet in the judge's chamber after which their affidavits will be submitted, verified and the divorce by mutual consent is expected to be granted on the same day.After working with MTV, Malaika entered into the modeling world and became successful in this field too.




 She has appeared in many advertisements and item numbers in Bollywood. "Chaiyya Chaiyya" and "Munni Badnaam Hui" are some of her amazing hits. She also appeared in the television shows like Nach Baliye, Zara Nachke Dikha. 





She was seen as one of the judges in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with actress Madhuri Dixit and choreographer Remo D'Souza.Malaika Arora began her career as a VJ on MTV Asia. Her talent as a host and sex-symbol status made her a popular model and the channel promoted her as one of its faces.





 As an event emcee and TV model, Malaika's career took a dramatic turn following the enormous success of the song Chhaiya Chhaiya in Mani Ratnam's Dil Se, in which she danced on top of a moving train with Shahrukh Khan. Since then, she has made many special appearances in Bollywood songs.
