Manatha Mohandas Biography


 
Mamta Mohandas (born November 14, 1985 in Bahrain) is a mainstream Indian on-screen character. She went to the Indian School, Bahrain till 2002. Mamta, who initially hails from Kerala, experienced childhood in Bahrain is a tall (5 feet 7 inches) display and is at present undertaking a degree at Mount Carmel, Bangalore. 



























Before movies, Mamta was displaying for a long while, doing both print promotions for such names as IBM and Kalyan Kendra and on the incline for the Mysore Maharajah and Raymonds. amta, who originally hails from Kerala, grew up in Bahrain is a tall (5 feet 7 inches) model and is currently undertaking a degree at Mount Carmel, Bangalore. Though her debuted film was not got the box-office hits but she was able to make the audience and directors impressed. From these, she started acting on many films like Mayookham, Bus Conductor, Adbutham, Lanka, Big B, Gooli, Victory, Passenger, Kedi and so on.



 She was acted in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil film.She made her acting debut with Malayalam film Mayookham in 2005, though the film failed at box office she gained recognition for her performance. Mamta Mohandas subsequently worked for blockbuster hits like Yamadonga co-starring Jr. NTR, Mohan Babu, Priyamani and Kushboo, King co-starring Nagarjuna and Trisha, Passenger co-starring Sreenivasan and Dileep, Thadaiyara Thaakka co-starring Arun Vijay, Celluloid co-starring Prithviraj and Sreenivasan, among other films.



Mamta Mohandas is a cancer survivor and taking chemotherapy sessions regularly. She is a very positive and confident person.Mamta Mohandas was engaged to Prajith Padmanabhan, a businessman from 11 November 2011 and married him on 28th December 2011. But in Dec 2012 both of them applied for mutual divorce.

She eventually stepped into the Telugu film industry as well, when she appeared in a supporting role in the film Yamadonga, directed by SS Rajamouli.




 The film became one of the biggest hits of the year. She had lent her voice for a couple of songs in this film too. In 2008, she appeared in 7 films, predominantly in Telugu-language films. Her first release was her debut Kannada film Gooli. She then starred her first in the film Krishnarjuna, essaying the lead female role finally, which however did not well at the box office.




 Victory was her next assignment as lead actress, but that film also failed at the box office, following which she appeared in a cameo role in her only Tamil release that year, Kuselan, alongside Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. Three more Telugu releases featured Mamta, including Homam, directed by JD Chakravarthy and Srinu Vaitla's King (2008 film) opposite Nagarjuna. In both these films she also performed as a playback singer in several songs.





Later she did a Tamil language film entitled Sivapathigaram opposite Vishal Reddy to be directed by Karu Pazhaniappan. . Mamta has also signed her next Malayalam film tentatively titled Baba Kalyani opposite Mohan Lal to be directed by Shaji Kailas.Mamta has also made her entry in Kollywood playback singing by crooning a tune named "Kaalai Kaalai" in the film Kaalai, which stars Silambarasan, Vedhika as well as Nila in a guest role.




 The film's music is composed by G.V Prakash Kumar and is directed by Tarun Gopi.Her Malayalam film Lanka got named into Telugu and is titled Pokiri Pilla. While pokiripilla was her first film in telugu which was a malayalam named motion picture, the first direct telugu motion picture chance came as a singer.




Mamta who is prepared in Carnatic and Hindustani music. She made her singing introduction with Rakhee film in which Devi Sri Prasad scored awesome music. She was the vocalist for the female voice for the melody “Rakhee” for the film Rakhee(*ing Jr NTR,Ileana,Charmee Kaur). The music was made by Devi Sri Prasad.
