She hails from Bangalore.Arundathi made her acting debut as Padmavathi in 2010 in the Kannada film Kolminchu and acted in G. K. Mudduraj's Khadak. Later in 2010 she debuted in the Tamil film industry in S. A. Chandrasekhar's production Veluthu Kattu.
