She had changed her name to Hema after coming to film industry.Krishna Veni better known as Hema is a Tollywood film actress and comedian, who work for mainly Telugu movies. She was born in Razole, East Godavari district, A.P..She has acted in more than 250 movies and also participated in A.P. general elections 2014 from Mandapeta. 



She is also a wonderful guys and good personality in Tollywood film Industry.Hema first film name is Chinnari Sneham in 1989 as an actress. Some of the famous movies in which Hema acted are Swathi Chinukulu, Muddulu Mamaiah, Dharma Yudham, Adadhi, Lorry Driver, Money, Varasudu, Mechanic Alludu, Dost, Okariki Okaru, Nee Sneham.

She had a hit on-screen pairing with Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor and Dev Anand in the 70’s and, post-marriage; she had 8 hits opposite Rajesh Khanna in 1980-87. 




Malini was initially promoted as the “Dream Girl”, and in 1977 starred in a film of the same name. Thereafter there has been no looking back for this attractive Libran, who went to star in close to 155 movies. She has played both comic and dramatic roles, as well as being a dancer. Her hit film list includes films like Andaz, Lal Pathar, Seeta Aur Geeta (which even got her a Filmfare Best Actress Award), Trishul, Joshila, Sholay, Kranti, Satte Pe Satta, Naya Zamana, and Raja Jani. 





She directed the film Dil Aashna Hai with Divya Bharti and Shahrukh Khan in the leading roles. During her career, Malini received eleven nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, and won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and also the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor awarded by the Government of India. In 2012, the Sir Padampat Singhania University conferred an Honorary Doctorate on Malini in recognition of her contribution to Indian cinema. 





From 2003 to 2009, Malini was elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper House of parliament, as a representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She is married to famous actor Dharmendra, and has two children- Esha and Ahana, both of whom are married now. The trio, well proficient in the arts of Bharatnatyam dances form, has performed together at a number of dance events and concerts. After taking a break from films for a number of years, Hema made a comeback with Baghban (2003) for which she earned a Filmfare Best Actress Award nomination. 





She also played a substantial supporting role in the 2004 film Veer-Zaara. In 2011, she directed her second feature film Tell Me O Khuda which featured both her husband Dharmendra and her daughter Esha Deol.Hema participate in andhra pradesh general elections 2014 from Mandapeta consistency for Jai Samaikyandhra Party. She got 452 votes polled.
