Tanvi Vyas is a known face in Kollywood (South Indian films). She was born and brought up in Baroda in Gujarat in a Hindu Brahamin family. She was born on 30th September 1985 and happens to be the only daughter of her parents.
She did her schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary in Baroda and later went to do her Fine Arts doing her Graphic Design from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda. During her college days, she was active very much in cultural activities including participating in IIT Powai cultural fest called Mood Indigo apart from winning the Westside Style Showdown.

While in college, she won Westside style showdown, a college based competition and participated in IIT Powai's cultural fest Mood Indigo.
She even participated in competitive beauty pageant; she won the Femina Miss India Earth 2008 and later went on to represent India for Miss Earth 2008 held in Philippines. After winning title for Miss India she was seen in the role of a show stopper of designer called Ritu Kumar in Dubai Fashion Week. Soon she got a couple of assignments including Neeta Lulla, Digvijay Singh, Krishna Mehta, Lacone Hemant in a number of popular fashion shows.
She was seen in commercials both in the mainstream TV channels and the south Indian channels as well. Some of the brands for which did act include Air India, Safi, Hero Cycles, Donear,Pantaloons and RMKV Silk Sarees.
She also did an ad with B Town actor VivekOberoi.After winning the Miss India title in 2008, she went on to work as a show stopper with designers Ritu Kumar (Dubai fashion week, couture week), Neeta Lulla [Gitanjali Lifestyle Bridal couture], Digvijay Singh [Lakme India Fashion week], Krishna Mehta [Gitanjali Lifestyle],Lacone Hemant (Colombo).
She also made a few commercials both in the north and south of India for Air Wick, JP Cement, Colgate, Banjara Fairness, ClearTrip.com, Sri Laxmi jewelery, Kent Water Purifiers, Canvera Photo albums.
Tanvi made her acting debut in Kollywood with the film Eppadi Manasukkul Vanthai (“How You Came Into My Heart”), a Tamil Indian film directed by P. V. Prasath.
